Ranvir Singh was born on 11 August 1977 in Preston, Lancashire.
Her father died when she was nine and around that time she started to suffer from alopecia.
She worked at the BBC including co-presenting BBC North West Tonight for 5 years.
She moved to ITV and started jointly presenting Daybreak just weeks after having a baby.
At ITV, as well as working on Good Morning Britain (going on to become the political editor of the show) she also hosted Real Stories with Ranvir Singh.
She also hosts the ITV series Eat, Shop, Save which challenges families to get fitter, eat better, and save money.
In 2020, Ranvir Singh became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
She was paired with Giovanni Pernice. They came fifth, losing out in the semi-finals.
Shortly afterwards she had a few days presenting the Lorraine Kelly Show during the Chistmas holidays.
