Richard Arnold's Biography
Who is Richard Arnold?
Richard Arnold left school at 16 and had various jobs in Aberdeenshire, where he was brought up, after moving from Hampshire.He started a law degree at Edinburgh University, but quickly changed to English Language and Literature.
He then built a career in journalism, working on Inside Soap magazine, and becoming a presenter on the BBC2 Sunday morning youth programme The Sunday Show.
He then joined GMTV and stayed for 13 years, leaving in 2010.
In June 2012 Richard Arnold returned to ITV Breakfast as Showbiz Editor on Daybreak.
He has also worked for much of the national press, the London radio station LBC and Hello!
Richard Arnold's TV credits include presenting Take It Or Leave It, Loose Lips, and Soapstar Superchef.
In 2012, Richard Arnold was paired with Erin Boag in Strictly Come Dancing.
They were the sixth couple to be voted off the show.
In 2014, he became Entertainment Editor of Good Morning Britain.
