Who is Danny Mac?
Danny Mac was born in Bromley on 26 February 1988.He was a childhood actor and studied acting at Chichester College and Drama School: The Arts Educational School (ArtsEd).
Danny performed as Gavroche in Les Miserables and in the production of Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
In 2011 Danny Mac got his big breakthrough when he was cast as Mark ‘Dodger’ Savage in Hollyoaks.
He appeared in the popular Channel Four soap for four years and was voted (three times) Soap’s Sexiest Man at the Inside Soap Awards.
In 2016, Danny Mac got engaged to Carley Stenson, who played Stephanie Cunningham in Hollyoaks.
Danny and Carley married a year later.
In August 2016, it was revealed that Danny Mac was one of the celebrities on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
He was partnered by Otlile Mabuse.
Danny and Otile reached the Strictly final and ended runners-up alongside Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton; just beaten by Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton.
