Who is Ore Oduba?
Ore Oduba was born in London on 17 November 1986.He studied Sports Science and Social Science at Loughborough University.
In his last year at Loughborough, he successfully applied for a place on The Network, an Edinburgh Television Festival scheme for young people who want to get into TV.
He was a host on CBBC’s Newsround from July 2008 to 2014.
Subsequently Ore Oduba has appeared regularly on BBC Breakfast and been part of the BBC's Live coverage at several events including the 2016 Olympic Games, the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations, and the London Marathon.
Ore Oduba was part of the team that raised over £1 million for Sport Relief by travelling around the UK on a yacht in the Hell On High Seas challenge.
Before becoming a television presenter, Ore Oduba had jobs as a pizza delivery boy and a security guard.
In August 2016, Ore Oduba was revealed as one of the celebrities to be appearing on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he was paired with Joanne Clifton.
Ore and Joanne won the Strictly final beating runners-up Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton; and Danny Mac and Otile Mabuse.
In August 2017, Ore Oduba revealed that wife Portia was pregnant. They had a boy named Roman.
He subsequently hosted the BBC One quiz show Hardball.
