Anneka Rice's Biography
Anneka Rice was born in south Wales in 1958.
Her early career in broadcasting included working on the BBC World Service, and then presenting the evening news in Hong Kong on TVB Pearl.
A few years later Anneka came back to the UK and became a reporter on ITV's children’s programme CBTV.
Her big breakthrough came when she became the host of Channel Four’s Treasure Hunt.
She then hosted the BBC1 series Challenge Anneka.
Anneka Rice has also been a presenter on Radio 2.In 2019, she became one of the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing.
She was paired with Kevin Clifton. They were the second couple to be eliminated.
Anneka Rice has performed comedy on radio including The Clemmie Hart Years and Help! My Head's in Wookey Hole - both for Radio 4.
