Michelle Visage's Biography

Michelle Visage was born Michelle Lynn Shupack in 1968 in New Jersey.

She became well known when she joined the all girl group Seduction, who signed to A&M records in 1990.

She then had a spell going solo, before hosting various radio shows in the US.

She became a judge on the award-winning RuPaul's Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

In 2015, she was a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother and Michelle has also been a judge on Ireland's Got Talent.

In 2018, Michelle Visage appeared as Miss Hedge in Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

In 2019, she became one of the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing.

She was paired with Giovanni Pernice. They came seventh.

In February 2020, it was revealed that BBC Three had commissioned a series entitled Michelle Visage: Get Off Your Ass.
