Helen George's Biography

Who is Helen George?

Helen George trained at The Birmingham School of Acting and went on to win The Ian Fleming Award to train in Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music.

She can sing Mezzo-Soprano and has sung at Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall.

One of her most notable acting roles was playing Trixie in Call The Midwife.

She met her husband-to-be, actor Oliver Boot, co-starring in Hotel Babylon.

However, they broke up in 2015.

Her other TV credits include playing teacher Miss Jones in Hollyoaks, and Andrea Towers in Doctors.

In 2015, she became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing. She was partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec.
