Who is Kirsty Gallacher?
Kirsty Gallacher was born on 20 January 1976 in Edinburgh, the daughter of former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher and the cousin of golfer Stephen Gallacher.She has been a presenter on Sky Sports News since her debut in 1998.
Her other presenting credits include Kirsty’s Home Videos, Simply the Best, Only Fools on Horses and Gladiators.
She won the third series of Channel 4’s The Games.
In October 2014 she launched her own sports clothing range called Activewear by Kirsty Gallacher.
Kirsty Gallacher and former rugby player Paul Sampson split up in 2015, after 10 years of marriage.
In 2015, she became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
She was paired with Brendan Cole. They were the fifth pair to be voted off.
In 2017, admitted drink-driving after being caught three times over the limit.
Trivia
Her sister Laura Gallacher got engaged to Russell Brand and they had a baby girl in November 2016.
