Dr Punam Krishan is a GP, well known for her appearances on BBC Morning Live and BBC Radio Scotland.
She was born in Glasgow and studied medicine at the University of Glasgow from 2001 to 2005.
Punam has hosted a podcast The Medic Mum and as well as appearing on broadcast media, she also writes on medical matters for inews and has written a children’s book entitled How to be a Doctor and other Life-saving Jobs.
In 2024, she became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
