Tasha Ghouri was born deaf in Thirsk in Yorkshire on 11 August 1998.
She wears a a cochlear implant.
After studying at Creative Academy, she became a dancer and a model and brand ambassador.
In 2023, Tasha launched her own podcast Superpowers with Tasha Ghouri, which focused on normalising disabilities by embracing them as a superpower.
She has worked with charities including DeafKidzUK, RNID and NDCS to help those with hearing impairments.
Tasha was a finalist in Season 8 of Love Island.
In 2022, she dated Giovanni Pernice.
They broke up, however, Tasha resumed her connection with Strictly Come Dancing, when she was selected to be one of the celebrities on the show in 2024.
She was the second deaf celebrity on the show. Previously, Rose Ayling-Ellis had won Strictly when she was partnered by Giovanni Pernice.
